Britney je tražila tri prostorije za svoj comeback na MTV VMA 2008. U jednoj prostoriji nalazilo se ogromno ogledalo, u drugoj je imala mesta za pilates i u trećoj su držali 10 njenih odabranih haljina za to veče. Britney je tražila i mirisne sveće, masera, sveže povrće, suši, kabala knjige i mnogo svežeg voća.

Priča jednog Britneynog fana sa VMA's
Tokom celog showa nisam mogao skinuti oči sa Britney Spears. I nisam bio jedini - pored nje su u svakom trenutku stajala dva telohranitelja. U jednom trenutku fan je pokušao da joj priđe, ali mu telohranitelji nisu dozvolili. A sa Taylor Swift je druga priča. Otišla je da popriča sa Britney, a potom su naišli i Jonas Brothersi. Britney se onda pozdravila sasvojim starim telohtanitelje, Big Robom, koji sad radi za Jonase. Posle showa Britney je otišla u šetnju, a tamo su je čekali novinari. Dok je šetala nopvinari i fanovi su je pratili u stopu i sve više ljudi se pridruživalo gužvi iza nje. Bilo je kao u bajci, ali je završilo brzo. Otišla je u deo koji je samo za fotografe, gde nisu mogli da je smaraju sa pitanjima. Ko može da je krivi za to? Izgledala je odlično, a i po ponašanju se vidi da je na pravom putu...

Nakon jedne kratke sezone Britney & Kevin: Chaotic ko bi pomislio da ćemo jednog dana možda čuti: "And the Emmy goes to... Britney Spears"? Pop zvezda će možda to i ostvariti jer je ušla u bubanj mogućih nominovanih. Britney će naravno biti nominovana za pojavljivanje u seriji "How I Met Your Mother". U bubnju sa Britneynim imenom nalaze se imena još 41 glumice koje je izabrala Academy of Television.
Britney Spears se vratila u CBS-ovu seriju How I Met Your Mother u ponedeljak da bi još jednom odglumila ulogu smešne recepcionarke Abby koja je zaljubljena u Teda (Josh Radnor). Rejting je skočio sa prvim pojavljivanjem pa su je brzo pozvali i u novu epizodu. Činjenica da ovo drugo gostovanje nije bilo toliko uspešno nije Britneyna krivica. Ona uopšte nije loše glumila. Sviđa mi se kako pokušava da uskladi svoja osćanja mržnje/ljubavi prema Tedu dok leži u krevetu sneno bleji u plafon: “You know what I hate most about Ted? His stupid hair … His stupid, lame, awesome hair. It’s so stupid and awesome.” Abby je na kraju završila u krevetu sa Barneyjem (Neil Patrick Harris), a njih je spojila zajednička odbijenost od Teda - odbio je njenu ljubav i njegovo prijateljstvo. Onda su odlučili da glume par da bi nervirali Teda. Ali je Barney preterao sa šalom kada je zaprosio Abby i tada je Abby pomislila da je Barney stvarno voli. I tada da bi se izvukao iz toga, Barney je rekao da je Ted "popušio" njihovu šalu i da je sada ljubomoran. I tada je Abby bila luda od ljubavi. To je bilo mnogo da se utrpa u jednu 20-ominutnu epizodu iako je to sitkom. Vreme je da Britney pređe na sledeći projekat u glumi. Uloga u seriji Ugly Betty bi bila dobra, ali je Lindsay Lohan već tamo.
