In addition to being a performer, you’ve
written songs for the Pussycat Dolls and have just written a couple of
songs for Britney Spears’ upcoming album. How did that situation come
about?
Lday GaGa: It came about quickly and in an unconventional
way. I wrote the songs thinking it might be for my own record and then
Larry Rudolph (Britney’s manager) was sort of lurking around when we
were in the studio and heard one of them and I got a call saying that
Britney wants it and I said, “Give it to her - let her have it.” My
record was pretty much done anyway. It’s an amazing song but there’s
nothing like having a superstar singing your lyrics. Then it just so
happened that she heard another song that I did with a different
producer that she also gravitated towards and I don’t even know if she
knew that I wrote it. I was supposed to go in and produce her vocals
but I couldn’t do it because I was on tour, but I heard that she is
dancing her pants off in the studio and so excited.

Mel Gibson je hteo da se igra kupidona sa svojim sinom i Britney spears. Prema američkom tabloidu National Enquirer, "Bravehart" glumac je pokušao da smuva svog jednog sina, Edwarda, sa Britney. A Edward je nedavno izašao sa odvikavanja od kokaina i alkohola. Mel je mislio da bi njegov si, koji je okrenuo svoj život naglavačke kada je priznao da je zavisan i prijavio se u Cri-Help kliniku za odvikavanje u Hollywoodu, mogao pomoći posrnuloj "Toxic" pevačici da uradi isto. Izvor za tabloid kaže: “Mel felt Ed would be a great influence on Brit, and if the relationship turned into romance, all the better.” Mel je tada sredio sastanak u Britneynoj kući na Hollywood Hillsu. “He sincerely believed that his son could help Britney stay on the
straight and narrow and that they might hit it off as a couple as well.” Ali Britney je odbila da se vidi sa Edom i sakrila se čim su on iMel stigli kod njene kuće... Izvor nastavlja: “She hid from them for most of the night. Mel and his son spent most of their evening talking to her bodyguards!” Iako njegov plan nije uspeo Brit mu je zahvalna što je pokušao da joj pomogne. Izvor još za kraj kaže: “Mel has become her close confidante. Mel’s helped out other stars, such as Robert Downey Jr. — and he’d love to see Britney do as well as Robert has.”
Britneyn comeback se planira i na njemu se radi velikom brzinom, do sada nije bilo prepreka na putu do ostvarenja Britneynog plana, kaže Darkchild. Posle sedmogodišnje pauze on ponovo radi sa Britney i spreman je da joj da "new edgy sounds". “I’m just trying some new things. I’ve always worked with Britney. I love working with her. I’m just trying to reinvent her and reinvent myself with her project.”, kaže za Rap-Up TV. Njih dvoje su počeli da rade pre samo četiri nedelje i već imaju nekoliko pesama koje kažu da su “very dance-y, very uptempo, in the clubs, real aggressive, and catchy…very, very hook-friendly.” Rodney je najviše impresioniram profesionalizmom "Piece Of Me" pevačice. “It usually takes people a long time to record songs and we just did a
song. She walked in at 8:30 and was out by 10:30 — did the whole song —
in and out.” Album na police music shopova stiže početkom 2009. godine, a ako stvari i dalje nastave kao do sada, po planu, Rodney kaže da će ovo biti još jedna Britney godina. Kaže: “I was very happy to see that she was working on the positive side and she’s moving toward new things now. I think it’s about to be her time again.”
Ovo je Venus rekla za USA Today:
“My preparation includes breakfast at home in the morning and then practice. My music of choice has been the new Britney Spears album, which is upbeat and helps me get my day started on the good foot.”
Britney je ljuta na mamu zbog njenih planova da objavi knjigu o njoj! "Gimme More" pevačica je toliko ljuta zbog objavljivanja knjige o njenom i Jamie Lynninom showbiz životu da ne želi više ni da bude u istoj prostoriji sa mamom. Toliko su se posvađale da Britney čak nije htela da bude sa Jamie Lynn dok se porađala jer nije želela da gleda mamu. Izvor je rekao: "Britney was so upset and angry with her mom that at first she refused
to be at the birth. She couldn’t bear to be in the same room as her. But when Jamie Lynn found out that Britney might not be in there, she
got really frightened and couldn’t stop crying. She begged her sister
to reconsider, and at the last minute Britney agreed to come." Britney je toliko očajna zbog objavljivanja te knjige da je čak pokušala i da podmiti mamu. Izvor dodaje: "Britney feels that just as she is moving forward, her mom is dragging
her back. She’d even offered to pay her mom the equivalent of the book
money to keep her quiet."
Ne znam koliko je ova informacija istinita, ali sumnjam da je Britney zadovoljna sa Lynninom knjigom. Ko bi bio? O čemu Lynn razmišlja? Nije ni čudo što su među njima zategnuti odnosi...
Nešto je tu sumnjivo... Pretpostavljam da se zapravo Britney premišljala i otkazala sve, a one govore da je to bila njihova odluka da ne bi ispalo da ih je Brit Brit ispalila... Ali ko zna...
